YOU ARE CALLED TO BE BLESSED!
“Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate.” Luke 23:11
Ponder.
Though there was no fault found in Jesus, Herod, along with his soldiers, treated Jesus with contempt. Jesus did not repay them but left it in the hands of God. Despite praying for the destitute and doing good to the needy, are you being despised and mocked? Are you falsely accused of any crime you’ve never committed and are facing rigorous court trials? Do not worry. Jesus has crossed the same path before you. He knows your pain. God himself will stand by your side and fight for you. You only need to be still.
Commit.
Beloved child of God, are you able to follow in the footsteps of Jesus?
Pray.
Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to respond just as Jesus responded when he was treated badly.
