WHAT IS YOUR AIM IN LIFE?
“I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
Ponder.
It is indeed pleasing to hear what Paul’s aim in life was. He just aimed at finishing the task entrusted to him by Christ amidst the hardships and prisons. Not just finish the race anyhow, but with ‘joy’. Are we setting goals like Paul did? Are we aiming to joyfully finish the ministry that we received from the Lord? Today, while we face persecution, it’s more likely that we waver in our aim. But if we stand firm in our aim to fulfill the ministry the Lord has given us, these persecutions may count for nothing.
Commit.
What is your goal? Are you able to run the race with joy?
Pray.
Let us recommit ourselves so that we will be able to finish the race with joy and complete the ministry we received from the Lord Jesus Christ.
