SHEEP AMONG WOLVES
“_Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.” Matthew 10:16_
*Ponder*.
Jesus tells us that it is He who sends us out as sheep in the midst of wolves. This is most comforting to us because we do not go out on our own, but it is He who sends us, and because He sends us, He also knows what we will endure in the midst of wolves. Do we find ourselves in situations where we feel we are truly like sheep among wolves? In these things, let us be obedient to be sent, and put our hope in Our Good Shepherd, who will also go with us and protect us.
*Commit*.
Are we prepared for our Lord to send us out like sheep among wolves?
*Pray*.
Let us pray that we will be obedient to our Good Shepherd as He sends us out and have the peace that He will be with us.
