REFLECTING CHRIST’S LOVE
“__You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:43-45_

*Ponder*.
Everyone wants to hear about Christ’s love and forgiveness, but are we prepared to reflect Him in our lives? We are Christ’s living testimonies. When people see our humility and forgiveness, they will be drawn to Christ. Furthermore, we are not His children unless we walk in His ways. We are called to trust and obey Christ, just as a child trusts his or her parents and is unconcerned about the future. When we are overwhelmed, we are prompted to pray. When we pray, He fills us with the strength to be patient and kind.

*Commit*.
Do we really strive to reflect our Father’s character and unconditionally love those who persecute us?

*Pray*.
Lord, help us to love our enemies. Lord, forgive us for being impatient.
