“who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality” Romans.2:6, 7

Our God is a just judge. He will give to everyone according to His works. The Bible repeatedly tells us that to those who rebel against God’s plan and refuse to obey His rules, He will deliver His wrath and judgement. But to those who are continually and patiently doing good, aiming at the unseen glory and honour of the eternal world, He will bestow eternal life. Continue to be persistent in serving the Lord even when the world tries to stop it. What we are presently experiencing can be difficult and distressing, but the hope of eternity helps us to persist through the trials.

Are we able to continue serving the Lord in the midst of persecution, even when we’re not rewarded with anything here?

Let us ask God to put the seal of eternity on our foreheads so that we persevere to carry out acts of goodness for His glory.
