LEAP FOR JOY!
“Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven.” Luke 6:23
Ponder.
God calls ‘blessed’ the person who is persecuted for the sake of His name. The realisation of the reward for him or her enduring the suffering will make that person not only find comfort in that, but beyond that, he or she will be able to rejoice and leap for joy. It may be hard for us to endure when we fail to trust Him, but when we trust in Him, we shall endure. We will be able to endure joyfully all the trials and sufferings because of our hope for that day, when we will receive the reward awaiting us in heaven.
Commit.
Have you been able to rejoice while suffering for Christ? Do you consider it a privilege to suffer for Christ?
Pray.
Let us pray that we will be able to rejoice while we go through persecution, understanding that our reward is great in heaven.
