“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23.

When we have made a commitment to follow Christ, we have to fulfil our commitment with unswerving hope despite prolonged challenges. By professing our hope, we are telling those around us that our confidence is in God, who is faithful in His promises and will enable us to walk persistently in our calling. Hence, it is understood that it is God’s faithfulness that enables us to stick to His promises. Professing what God has said in His Word gives us the power to endure the severe persecution as the believers in the Book of Hebrews did. Therefore, stand on the unshakable promises of God in Christ, our eternal hope.

*Commit*.
When faced with prolonged challenges, are you able to hold on to God’s promises without letting go?

*Pray*.
Let us pray for God to give us the strength to wait for the fulfilment of the promise.
