GRACE WILL LEAD US HOME!
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians.12:9
Ponder.
This verse is one of the most powerful and endearing promises in the Word of God. While toiling for the faith and being physically and mentally tortured at different places, Paul experiences a tormenting problem, referred to as the ‘thorn in the flesh’. So, in utter confidence, he asks the Lord to remove this thorn—that too—three times. But the response from God was in the negative. It is tough to imagine God saying ‘NO’ to a genuine request from one of His faithful servants. But the ‘NO’ came with this encouraging, comforting promise—the promise that operates only in the context of our weakness, a power that is manifested in a state of total helplessness—this grace, His amazing grace, will sustain us in any suffering.
Commit.
Are we repeatedly pleading with the Lord to take away all suffering and persecution from our lives?
Pray.
Let us ask Him for an added measure of that grace, which empowers us in our weakness and strengthens us in our fragility.
