Sister Vinita’s only son, Anugrah Joy, had gone for a Bible study on 3rd November 2024 but never returned home. She was devastated to learn that Anugrah and two others had been arrested and jailed under false conversion charges in Ayodhya district, Uttar Pradesh. As a widow, Vinita had already endured much loss—Anugrah was not just her son but also her sole support after her husband’s death. Her world fell apart.
In her deepest moment of pain and isolation, God sent help through Persecution Relief. The team responded immediately—providing monthly financial support, emotional care, and spiritual encouragement. Sisters from the team regularly called Vinita, prayed with her, and reminded her she was not alone.
After a long wait filled with prayer, grief, and hope, Anugrah was finally released on 17th April 2025. Her mourning turned into joy, and her heart overflowed with gratitude—especially toward Persecution Relief, who stood by her like family when no one else did.
There are countless believers like Vinita and Anugrah suffering in silence for their faith. Will you stand with them? Will you go the extra mile in love, prayer, and support?
📖 Scripture:
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3
