Ponder.
When we plant a seed, we wait for months or years to enjoy its yield. Likewise, a baby is born only after it has been properly nourished and developed in the womb. All of these require a waiting period and proper care. Similarly, as children of God, we are taken care of by Him. Let us commit before God that we will not take revenge on those who persecute us, rather wait in His presence. We are called to learn to take nourishment from His word and wait for Him to act. When we ordain our steps according to His word, we will see the deliverance of the Lord.
Commit
Do we turn to His word while we feel threatened by persecution, or do we look to other choices? Are we willing to obey His commandments?
Pray
Let us pray for God to cleanse our hearts and minds. Let us ask God to be our deliverer.
