Pastor & Fly threatened, car vandalised

Pastor Iwin Joseph and his family, who are faithfully serving the Lord in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, Raigad District in Maharashtra state.

Pastor Iwin shared a deeply troubling incident that took place after a cottage prayer meeting at a believer’s home. As they stepped out of the house, a woman suddenly began accusing them of being missionaries attempting to convert people. The situation quickly escalated as others joined in, and in a shocking act of aggression, their car—a Maruti Ertiga—was vandalized and its windows shattered.

Although a police complaint was promptly filed, Pastor reports that no help has been extended by the authorities so far. Even more alarming, he and his family were threatened and warned not to return to the area, with ominous consequences implied if they are seen there again.

We call upon the Church to lift up Pastor Iwin, his family, and the local believers in fervent prayer. Let us pray for divine protection, comfort, and courage for them in this time of persecution. May God intervene powerfully, bringing justice, peace, and boldness to His servants as they continue to serve faithfully in difficult circumstances.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1

Please uphold them in your daily prayers and share this request with others who can intercede on their behalf.
