HATED FOR CHRIST.
_“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.” Matthew 24:9_
Whatever we’re experiencing or seeing around us, Jesus has already made his children aware of. Jesus knew that his followers would face trials and tribulations, including imprisonment and death for their faith. He knew we would be despised by all nations for His name’s sake.
However, we should not consider ourselves defeated or desolate. We do not fear the devourer as God’s children because the Holy Spirit is with us.
We should consider ourselves blessed to suffer for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We have been set apart, so we should be spiritually prepared for whatever comes.
*Ponder*.
Do we accept being hated for Christ’s sake?
*Commit*.
Let’s commit to following Him faithfully, even if everyone hates us.
*Pray*.
We can pray and seek spiritual strength so as to consider ourselves blessed to be chosen for tribulation.
