FOR HIS NAME’S SAKE
“_O Lord, You know; remember me and visit me, And take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In Your enduring patience, do not take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered rebuke.” Jeremiah 15:15_
*Ponder*.
During times of adversity, we may have made a similar prayer like Jeremiah, where he asked the Lord to look at him, take notice of him, and avenge his persecution. As children of God, when persecuted for righteousness sake, we do not have to trust the power and position of men, but we have to completely trust Almighty God, like Jeremiah did.
God has never turned his face away when his people were being persecuted for his name. He will avenge the persecution of his people, and until then, we will continue to stand firm in faith and continue to praise him for his goodness!
*Commit*.
Can we trust Him completely in the process, even while we go through persecution?
*Pray*.
Let us pray that we will be able to hold on to our faith and believe that the Lord will avenge the persecution of his people in his name.
