📙 *HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!* 🇮🇳

As our *great nation India* celebrates its *77th Republic Day*, let us thank God for the Constitution that provides the freedom to worship Him.

*Let us pray that this Constitution will be preserved till the end, remaining unadulterated and upheld exactly as it was written.*

Let us bless and pray for every ruler and authority of this nation, as the Bible teaches us to do, asking God to grant them wisdom and discernment.

Pray that the *Secular nation of India* 🇮🇳 will continue to enjoy peace, unity, and oneness, and that every evil strategy intended to destroy or divide this harmony will be removed.

Let us also pray that, in the days ahead, the Constitution will be amended by the current Government, giving *freedom to worship Jesus and also to open up all closed Churches across India.*

📙 *PERSECUTION CASE UPDATES*

1. *Arjun, Nagesh, Tripathi, their families, and a few others* from a village in *Bijapur District, Chhattisgarh state*, were attacked by antisocial elements.

They were severely beaten and thrown out of their houses. Many poor Christians are suffering at different villages in Chhattisgarh state.

The Church seriously needs to step up and take some serious efforts to mobilize prayers across their congregations.

2. *Vijay Kumar Bharti* from *Varanasi district, Uttar Pradesh state*, was arrested and sent to jail on allegations of conversion. An FIR was registered against him under the *Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021.*

3. During Sunday Worship service, *Pastor Rajendra Chauhan and the 10 other believers* were taken to the police station in the *Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh state.*

During a prayer meeting held at a house in a village in *Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh state*, to celebrate a wedding anniversary, the police were informed of alleged religious conversion. *Pastor Shiv Dutt Prasad was taken to the station and was later released. However, Church services are currently not being held as they have been warned that strict action will be taken if any further information is received*. Church, please pray

1. *Two Christian families allegedly assaulted over religious conversion in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur*

Police are trying to settle the issue amicably and asked the villagers and the converted families to live without expressing any animosity towards each other. No FIR has been lodged.
