*Allahabad HC Rules: Preaching Religion and Distributing Bibles Isn’t a Crime – Police Overreach in UP Conversion Case Rejected*

🎀 *PERSECUTION CASE UPDATES*

1. Church, we need *Fasting and Praying for Uttar Pradesh state*, as 100s of Pastors and Believers are going through so much that most of them are living in uncertainties, not knowing what lies ahead. Your prayers can create a smooth path for them to finish the race successfully.
In the *Kannauj District of Uttar Pradesh State*, around 10 people from different places have been in police custody since Sunday, and a lot of searching is being done, and many things have been seized.

Church, please pray for God’s people.

2. Anti-Christians attacked two churches, Suvartha Sangam and Pentecostal Church, in a village in the *Kakinada District of Andhra Pradesh state*. The Church premises were vandalised, and the prayer meeting was disrupted.

3. *Brother Ajabsingh* was arrested from his house in a village in *Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh state*. Church Pray.

4. *Rev. S. Philip* from a village in the *Chikkaballapur District of Karnataka state* informed us that around *10 people have been forced to Ghar Wapsi* by paying money and a pair of clothes. Pastor requested prayers, as he is unable to run his Church because of harassment and threats.

5. *Pastor Baghchand Raj* from a village in *Narmadapuram District of Madhya Pradesh state* has been called to the police station with all bank details and other documents related to their Church. On 8/12/25 also, he was called to the police station and after questioning, he was sent back.

Church, pray that God will give the Pastor courage and boldness to face this situation. All these inquiries started after anti-Christian groups complained. A few people barged in during the last Sunday worship.

6. *Nutan Kumar Kurche and family* from a village in *Kanker District of Chhattisgarh state* were peacefully living in their village.

Everything changed because they chose to follow Jesus. They have been thrown out of their home, and having no other option, Nutan went to a nearby jungle and made a temporary house. For drinking water, he had to walk around a kilometre to fetch water💧, but now even that has been stopped by the local villagers.

Br. Shaji called our Helpline 1800-1234-461 for the Persecuted Saints and informed us.

After speaking to Nutan, we realised that he is very strong in the Lord and is singing, “_I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back.”_

Church, if you face a similar situation because of your faith in Jesus, what will be your stand? Answer Jesus, please.

7. Church, with great grief we want to request prayers for *Pastor Joshua’s family from Shahjahanpur district, Uttar Pradesh state. He lost his father.* 💔 Although he was granted bail, he has not been released from jail yet because the bail order has not been uploaded to the site. He has not been informed about any update.
Pastor Joshua has been in Shahjahanpur jail since 26/07/2025. Please pray for God’s peace and comfort for him and his family.

8. *Pastor Peter Naik* informed us that *Pastor Jagtar Singh Dharmasingh and Pastor Ramesh Sampath* were taken to the police station in *Pune District, Maharashtra state*. They were conducting a Christmas program in an auditorium. After spending a day in the police station, they were released yesterday. An FIR has been registered against them under BNS section 3(2). Church, pray.

9. *Pastor Thomas Mathew* has informed us that the process of filing the chargesheet has begun and that his bail hearing will be slated soon. The case traces back to an incident in Sukhliya, a residential suburb of *Indore, Madhya Pradesh state*, where a group of alleged antisocial elements reportedly barged in and disrupted the Sunday morning service. An FIR was filed in connection with the incident, and the pastor was arrested and released on the same day.

Church, step in with your earnest prayers, appealing to Christ our Advocate for His early intervention.

10. *The Honourable High Court* has admitted the petition filed by the Chhattisgarh Christian Forum *for the House Church* and has issued a notice to the State Government.

11. An FIR has been filed against *Pastor Panna Lal, Vidhya Sagar, and Uma Shankar Dohre* who were arrested from a village in *Kannauj district, Uttar Pradesh state* on allegations of building a church without permission and holding worship services.

1. Please pray for *Brother Johny from Indore district, Madhya Pradesh state*, who is being called to appear before the Court *today, 10/12/2025*. Pray that he receives regular bail.

2. The next court hearing of *Pastor Keshav Prasad, Seva Timothy & Ram Ashry* is scheduled today *10/12/2025* in Session Court, *Siddharth Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh state.*

3. The case hearing of *Sister Kiran and Asneet* from *Shahjahanpur District of Uttar Pradesh State* is scheduled today *10/12/2025*.
They were charged under Sections 3 and 5(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021

4. Anil Thomas’s bail hearing (Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh) is scheduled today *10/12/2025*. Church, earnestly pray for him

1. *Pastor Bikau from Maharajganj district, Uttar Pradesh state* informed that he has his next hearing on *15/12/2025.*
He was arrested on 16/11/2025 on conversion charges and a challan was issued under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
