💢 PERSECUTION CASE 💔 UPDATES

1. One after the other, states are implementing anti-conversion laws with strict penalties.

But on the other side, it’s time to rejoice, as the more the pressure builds up, the earlier will be the work of God to save his people.

‼️ *Strict Anti-Conversion Law Comes Into Force in Rajasthan*

*_Governor Haribhau Bagde has granted assent to the Rajasthan Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2025, making it officially in force.*_

📜 *Key Provisions:*
• Assets used for unlawful conversions can be seized by the government.

⚖️ *Penalties*:
• Fraudulent conversions: 7–14 years jail + ₹5 lakh fine
• Targeting minors, women, SC/ST, disabled: 10–20 years jail + ₹10 lakh fine
• Mass conversions: 20 years jail + ₹25 lakh fine
• Foreign/illegal funding: 10–20 years jail + ₹20 lakh fine
• Threats, deceitful marriage, trafficking: 20 years jail + ₹30 lakh fine
• Repeat offenders: 20 years jail + ₹50 lakh fine

🚫 *All offences are non-bailable and will be tried only in sessions court.*

📍 This is Rajasthan’s second attempt to pass such a law – the earlier version (2008, Vasundhara Raje govt) was returned by then President Pratibha Patil.

2. Pastor Dayal Dawar, from a village in *Dhar District, Madhya Pradesh*, informed us that he, along with *Pastors Suresh and Prem Singh*, had been *called to the police station on 10/10/25* having said that the police officials have received a complaint against these Pastors of converting people. They were warned not to conduct Sunday worship and were sent back from the police station.

3. Church, pray for *Pastor Prakash and his wife*, who were taken to the police station in the *Mandya District of Karnataka State*.

They were accused of conversion and were attacked during a Prayer meeting.

4. *Pastor Alok Kumar and Sister Kiran Pratima, Sister Pinky, and Sister Preeti* from a village in *Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh state*, have been taken to the police station because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray that they will be released without any charges

5. The following *eight believers* who were taken to the police station during Sunday worship from *Purulia District, West Bengal state*, have not received bail and have been *sent to jail. Their bail hearing is scheduled for 16/10/2025.*

They have been booked under Sections 199 and 296 of the IPC.
