CHRIST’S LIFE IN US
“_For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that His life may also be revealed in our mortal body.” 2 Corinthians 4:11_
*Ponder*.
The Christian life is not an easy one. The evil one is opposed to us, and we face many challenges and difficulties and are even given over to death. We must be prepared for this, but through it all, the perfect beauty of Christ’s life is revealed to us. Our persecutors may harass us, but it’s in our weakened state that the resurrected Christ is revealed. Through the death that we carry in our mortal bodies, Jesus’s life and His power are revealed in and through us, and He is able to use this for His Glory as our testimony.
*Commit*.
When we face difficult situations, even to the point of death, let us hold onto our Lord, whose life is revealed through us for His Glory.
*Pray*.
Let us earnestly pray that through our suffering and even death, the resurrected Christ will be revealed in and through us.
