AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST IN CONFLICT
“_Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us….” 2 Corinthians 5:20._
*Ponder*.
An ambassador is a resident representative of a country in a foreign land. Paul reminds the Corinthians that we are representatives of God’s kingdom on Earth. Whether we are in our comfort zone or conflict zone, as people representing the King and His Kingdom, we need to serve the Lord joyfully in spite of any challenges. The nation of origin will absolutely take care of the ambassador’s needs in the foreign land, and all the ambassador has to do is represent and prioritize his home country over personal gains. Likewise, as ambassadors of Christ in this foreign land whose laws are in conflict with God, we are to represent Christ in every situation, whether it be persecution, suffering or death.
*Commit*.
As an ambassador of Christ, will you be able to represent your country in your comfort zone as well as your conflict zone?
*Pray*.
Let us pray that we won’t misuse our position as Christ’s ambassadors for personal gain but will instead be able to represent our King and the Kingdom.
