Missionary couple Bro. Allen and Sis. Hilda, originally from Canada, had come to India in the early sixties and have been serving the Lord in Karnataka for the past 54 years.

They run two orphanages outside Bangalore. Their daughter Janice was born in India and has only been to Canada twice. Janice and Mohan, serve the Lord in Ottachathram, Tamil Nadu.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) have refused to renew their Visa and asked Allen and Hilda to move out of the country by January 14th. They are approaching the Canadian Consulate to persuade the Indian Government to reassess and reconsider their decision – God willing. If not, they will need to start working on Exit Visa formalities.

The couple have dedicated their lives to the children at the Children’s home. Every penny of their Canadian pension would go into the home. All the children in the orphanage are distraught with this new development.

Church, God plans are to “prosper Bro. Allen and Sis. Hilda and not to harm them, to give them a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Please pray for God’s perfect will for their lives.

Pray that their desires and their thoughts will not blind them to God’s perfect will but that they would be able to discern it.

Pray that God would give them and their extended family, peace about whatever is to come, and know that it is His hand.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
