Religious fanatics threaten demolition of home, Maharashtra
Tension erupted over the alleged construction of a Church, when a mob of around 40- religious fanatics stormed into a house which was under construction, raising slogans, demanding immediate suspension of all activities.
A single bedroom house of Pastor Mishek, was being constructed at Pastor’s own personal land, at Bhiwandi city, Thane district of Maharashtra state. With total impunity and brazenness, fanatics stormed into the house, and accused Pastor or building a Church and demanded that the work be suspended. They also threatened to demolish the structure.
Later, local Church Leaders and Pastors spoke to the mob, and amicably settled the matter, clarifying that it was a home and not a Church that was under construction.
