Pastors falsely accused and arrested, Uttarakhand

This incident was reported from a small city named Laksar, situated at Nagar Palika, in Haridwar District, Uttarakhand.

On Monday, 19th February, Pastor Pritham and Pastor Maithelishwaran from Sethpur were arrested.  They have been charged by the Police, with violating conversion laws by allegedly attempting to forcibly convert Hindus to Christianity.

Even in situations where there are no allegations of converting people to Christianity, India’s Christians suffer intense discrimination and persecution.
