Praise God. Pastor Shivnath Yadav’s has been released on bail this  afternoon. Continue to pray for Pastor, his family and the congregation.

Pastor arrested while praying at home, Uttar Pradesh

A worship service was being held at Pastor Shivnath Yadav’s residence at Rasoolpur village, Azamgadh District, Uttar Pradesh. Around 12 persons had congregated including 8 women.

Police stormed into the private residence and arrested Pastor on conversion charges.

Pastor David Asthana informed about the incident.Persecution Relief called the SO Mr. Brijesh to enquire about the incident, who claimed that a neighbour named Mr. U. Kumar called #100 and lodged a complaint that conversion was taking place at the residence. The #100 dial vehicle was dispatched and Pastor was arrested at 1.00 pm. The SO assured Persecution Relief that Pastor would be released after the basic questioning.

Speaking to Persecution Relief, Bro. Aminder, son of Pastor Shivnath Yadav, who was on vacation, was waiting outside the Police station for the release of his father.
