Outreach Ministry attacked, Bihar

Pastor Madhukar Kuchpudi and team of 9 members including two women were conduction outreach in Dighwara a town in the Saran district, state of Bihar, India.

During the outreach, Bro. Manohar was distributing Christian Calendars and Christian books. A local shopkeeper caught hold of him, accusing him of conversion and physically assaulted him. They physically dragged him into a room, locked him in and beat him up.

Pastor Madhukar and team, who had arrived in a Tata Sumo, were waiting for Bro. Manohar, when a mob of 20 fanatics surrounded the vehicle and threatening the occupants. Stuck at a Railway crossing, they were intimidated and falsely accused of indulging in conversion activities.

When he learnt that Bro. Manohar had been apprehended and beaten up, Pastor Madhukar, with great difficulty, broke away from the group and rushed to the nearest Police Station to report the matter.

A Police Patrolling vehicle accompanied Pastor back to where Bro. Manohar was held and helped rescue him from the militant shopkeeper.

Church, continue to pray for Pastor Madhukar and his team of valiant evangelists, as they courageously continue to carry out the ‘Great Commission”.
