Holy Bibles being burned again.

Burned remains of the Holy Bible being sealed by Police as evidence.

The incident happened at Kaler village, 12 kms from Batala, Gurdaspur District, Punjab. Pr Vijay Masih has gone to visit his family house at Bhamri village.

Aware of the whereabouts of Pastor Masih, a local villager named Presem, broke into the locked house around mid night. He ransacked the house and burned 100’s of Holy Bibles along with Pastor’s personal belongings such as Camera, Laptop etc.

When Pastor returned home this morning 15th April, he was greeted to the smouldering remains of the senseless late night arson attack of the Holy Bibles and his personal belongings.

Speaking to Persecution Relief, Mr. Peter Cheeda – Head of Samson Christain Sena who was at the Police Station, said that the radical villager Persem had been arrested and booked under IPC sections 452,458,295A.
