Church maliciously demolished, Andhra Pradesh
Freedom of Religion in India is a fundamental right guaranteed by Article 25-28 of the Constitution of India to every citizen of India. Yet, this very right to freedom of religion belief, continues to be threatened by religious extremists every day, in India, who continue to attack innocent Christians with impunity, conveniently forgetting that India is a democratic and secular country.
It is alleged that the perpetrator of this crime,Palaparthi Nageswar Rao, an influential and powerful man, was behind the demolition of the Church structure. He then went around the neighbour hood, raising a petition and collecting signatures of the local residents by force, not to allow a Church building in the area.
The perpetrator of this senseless daring crime, has also threatened to kill the Pastor or anyone who would dare to lodge a Police complaint against him.
Church, pray for Pastor Koteshwar Rao and his family, for God’s supernatural protection over them.
Pray for the peace of God to rest upon the village and for the perpetrator of the crime, to repent and find God.
