“Buy back our leap second”

“Buy back our leap second”

Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians “Redeem the time, because the days are evil.” On Tuesday the 30th June, the common people around the world heard about new a phenomenon called “leap second”, so some people left the office early to compensate time.

“If we cannot manage to make our systems handle a leap second,” Wired, “then we have bigger problems” said, Mr. Seidel. As we make our advancements with high technology and scientific know-how, we find the scarcity of time in our day to day life. As we have the smart phones, iPad and lap-tops to enjoy and share more time with these everyday companions we forget what our priorities are. We conveniently say we are busy. But being busy means setting our priorities, and those priorities are now changed. Paul says redeem the time, because the days are evil, he means “not to waste our time”. We need God more than ever. Set our priorities on high.
